The challenge
Setting up, maintaining, supporting and operating a complex system landscape requires a wide range of different skills and knowledge. Combining these in a single profile is a major challenge, which is why experts are usually required for the respective sub-areas. In addition to technical expertise, in-depth knowledge of the relevant applications is required not only for the initial system setup, but also for the import of business content, SAP notes, support packages or release upgrades. Only in this way application-specific preparatory and follow-up work can be carried out successfully and possible error situations can be handled with suitable solutions after appropriate analysis.
Thanks to our extensive experience in SAP implementation projects, we are familiar not only with SAP Basis, but above all with the actual application on the respective SAP system
We provide our customers with comprehensive support in all areas – planning, implementation, technical and application-specific preparatory and follow-up work, client copies, and installation of business content
Thanks to our own SAP system landscape, we gain valuable experience with the new software even before it is deployed at our clients' sites
The challenge
The standard software in use often does not fulfill all requirements from a functional, process-related or technical perspective. In many cases, existing legacy applications also need to be modernized and partially or fully integrated into the SAP environment. When implementing individual requirements using the latest technological possibilities, the consideration of internal development guidelines, performance aspects and seamless integration into SAP S/4HANA or a hybrid architecture, for example, play a central role. The development of user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX) design are also often crucial issues. Experts with different skills such as ABAP development, modelling and development within the HANA database, as well as front-end development with FIORI, SAPUI5 and JavaScript are required to implement these requirements.
ponturo combines many years of development experience with a deep understanding of systems and components. Our focus is on SAP products for the banking and insurance sectors, as well as their peripheral systems and interfaces
Our specialists undergo continuous training and are certified by SAP for product and component expertise, as well as SAP-supported development languages
As a long-standing SAP partner, we operate our own SAP demo and development environment and are always up to date with the latest developments
The challenge
In the past, IT architecture was closely aligned with corporate strategy. Today, however, IT is not just playing a supporting role – it is becoming a business success factor in its own right. Digitalization opens up a wide range of opportunities to further develop products, processes and organisational structures and thereby tap into new economic potential. As a result, IT architecture is increasingly becoming a decisive driver of strategic decisions. Banks and insurance companies must therefore scrutinize their IT strategies and system landscapes in ever shorter cycles and adapt them to changing requirements.
ponturo has many years of experience in modernizing IT application landscapes and has been supporting digital transformation in the banking and insurance sectors from the very beginning
We have experienced IT architects who understand our clients' requirements, anticipate future developments, and work with them to design customized solutions
We support SAP, one of the largest software manufacturers, with the latest technical developments, such as Fiori, Cloud, and HANA, and can always provide advice on current topics
The challenge
The digital transformation in the financial sector is challenging banks and insurance companies to not only modernize their IT infrastructure, but to make it fit for the future. As a partner for SAP cloud solutions, we at ponturo not only support our clients in the further development of their existing IT architecture, but also help them to make the right start with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) – from the initial implementation and integration to operation and continuous further development.
With SAP BTP as a foundation, relevant services, applications and tools such as SAP Joule, PaPM Cloud Edition or SAP Analytics Cloud can be integrated into the IT landscape, both in the cloud and in hybrid environments. The transition from a classic on-premises system landscape to a modern cloud architecture represents a further challenge for companies. At ponturo, we support our clients in this process, whether through the preparatory transformation of existing systems with regard to a cloud migration, the migration to the HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) or the transformation of business processes to the cloud with RISE with SAP.
We have been using SAP BTP for our own system landscape since its introduction - PaPM Cloud, SAC and SAP Joule are not just buzzwords for us, but applied practice.
We know the challenges of a transformation to the cloud, offer customized solutions and support our customers during the transformation. RISE seems too big at first? Then a migration to the HEC Private Cloud may be an entry-level scenario that we can support
AI is increasingly being integrated into SAP applications, but this also raises questions, and not just from an infrastructure perspective. We use Joule in our system landscape and test the AI services and agents, also against what is available on the market.
