Your new Field of activity
From strategy to implementation You will provide our clients with comprehensive advice on the introduction and further development of SAP solutions in Financial Asset Management and Treasury and Risk Management – technically sound, methodically structured and technologically up-to-date. Your responsibilities range from conception to customizing, testing and go-live – and beyond.
Financial management with vision You will accompany banks and insurance companies through the digital transformation and support them in mapping complex financial transactions – for example with shares, money market or foreign exchange products. You will take on team and project management roles as required.
Experience that works You will use your expertise to work on sophisticated specialist concepts in the area of treasury or investments and pass on your knowledge internally in workshops or training courses.

Expertise You have successfully completed your studies and have several years of experience in IT consulting with a focus on SAP FAM or SAP TRM. You are familiar with the processes relating to capital market products, as well as their functional and technical mapping in SAP.
Language skills and understanding of IT You have a very good command of German (at least C1) as well as good English. Thanks to your high affinity for IT, you find it easy to work with digital solutions.

As a Junior Consultant, you will be quickly introduced to the consulting role through initial assignments with clients. You will build up relevant expertise and important soft skills through internal and external training courses. During this phase, you will acquire basic theoretical knowledge of relevant IT and specialist topics as well as a deeper understanding of banking or insurance products.
Training on the Job
No boring training centre – real project life is the best "school". In consultation with our clients, we integrate you into ongoing projects after a short familiarization phase and accompany your onboarding with targeted professional and technical training.
Internes Coaching
We won't leave you on your own: during the first few months, you will have an experienced colleague at your side who will support you and act as a coach to help you with questions and challenges.

Consulting Camp
Our annual Consulting Camp prepares you even better for your work as a management consultant. As a Consultant, you will take on your first tasks under your own responsibility and work actively in a team on Client projects. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant project topics and take on tasks independently, such as tests, customizing or simple conceptual topics. You will also liaise directly with clients and continuously expand your practical experience.
Technical and IT training
We offer you continuous technical and IT-specific training to prepare you specifically for your tasks as a Consultant. All necessary measures are planned and implemented in constant dialogue with you. This will enable you to take on more and more responsibility on client projects and also on internal projects.
IT-Know-how
Working closely with your coach, you will expand your knowledge of the SAP module or other IT applications relevant to you. Through access to practice-orientated training and participation in internal SAP workshops, you will continuously expand your IT skills.

What qualifications are expected?
We expect career starters / university graduates to have successfully completed their studies with good grades, a high affinity for IT as well as motivation and interest in IT consulting. Initial experience in the finance or IT sector through internships, vocational training or relevant specializations during your studies is desirable. Previous knowledge of SAP is not required.
We expect young professionals and professionals to have specialist and industry knowledge as well as experience in technical topics relevant to us, e.g. SAP systems.
A very good command of German (at least C1) and a good command of English as well as a willingness to travel are also important.

How does the application process work?
After receiving your documents, you will receive a written confirmation of receipt from us. As a rule, you will be informed of our decision within 14 days. We will invite all candidates who best fulfill our requirements criteria to a telephone interview or video call. If we are mutually interested, we will then conduct two face-to-face interviews.
How do I prepare for the interviews?
In all interviews, we want to understand why you are interested in IT consulting, banking and/or insurance. Show us why you are a good fit for us and for the position you are applying for. You can do this by being well prepared and researching popular websites. Find out about our company and our specializations in advance. Familiarize yourself with the job description in advance and think about which of our Competence Centers you can best contribute your strengths to.
Where are ponturo locations?
Our office is located in Frankfurt am Main. However, the location plays a subordinate role and you can keep your current place of residence within Germany. A hybrid working model has become firmly established and proven itself with us. This allows us to ensure a good balance between working from home and being on site at the clients' premises or at the ponturo office.
What does a typical working week at ponturo look like?
In a typical working week, you will spend four days working for our clients. Your tasks are varied: they range from conceptual work, customizing and IT development to (virtual) meetings with clients and your team.
Fridays are set aside for your personal development. On this day, you will have time for training, workshops or internal events. This keeps you up to date professionally and technically and you are always well informed about what is happening at ponturo and in your Competence Center.
Are there opportunities to complete an internship, work as a student trainee or write a thesis?
You can find all vacancies for working students on our website. Due to our project-based working methods and client-specific requirements, we are unfortunately unable to offer internships. We can supervise Master's theses in individual cases. Please ask us about this.
