Your new Field of activity

Go-to-Market 
You will assist in developing a brand strategy and positioning our newly developed AI tool. You will participate in market, competition, and product research and help translate insights into concrete communication approaches.

Online presence 
You will work on the design and operational implementation of our online presence—from technical design and development to content creation and maintenance of the website and our social media channels.

Project work 
You will be involved in sales activities, e.g., through lead research and preparing quotations, and will take on basic tasks in the Project Management Office.

Solid foundation
Ideally, you are studying media informatics, business informatics, media, communication, or marketing-related subjects and are interested in the intersection of technology, branding, and business.

Language and technical skills
You have very good written and spoken German skills (at least C1). Extensive experience with content management systems (e.g., Typo3), image and video editing, and the use of common AI tools round off your profile. 

Personal strengths
You enjoy working in a team, are sociable, take responsibility, and show initiative. You also have a structured approach to your work, are reliable, and have strong organizational skills.

Availability
You can work between 15 and 20 hours per week and are willing to support our team on site in Frankfurt as needed.

Junior Consultant / Junior AI Engineer

As a Junior Consultant / Junior AI Engineer, you will quickly be introduced to consulting work through your first assignments with clients. You will build up relevant expertise and important soft skills through internal and external training courses. During this phase, you will acquire theoretical and practical basic knowledge in relevant IT, AI and specialist topics, as well as a deeper understanding of banking or insurance products and machine learning models.

Training on the Job

No boring training centre – real project life is the best "school". In consultation with our clients, we integrate you into ongoing projects after a short familiarization phase and accompany your onboarding with targeted professional and technical training.

Internes Coaching

We won't leave you on your own: during the first few months, you will have an experienced colleague at your side who will support you and act as a coach to help you with questions and challenges.

Networking

Every fortnight there is a meeting of the Consultants and Junior Consultants where you can exchange experiences, clarify questions and make valuable contacts with your colleagues right from the start.

Consulting Camp

Our annual Consulting Camp prepares you even better for your work as a management consultant. Over four intensive days, you will gain valuable methodological and soft skills expertise, take part in team building exercises and work on case studies. Consultant / AI Engineer

Consultant / AI Engineer

As a Consultant / AI Engineer, you will take on your first tasks independently and actively participate in customer projects as part of a team. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant project topics and use this to develop sound SAP/AI solutions: from planning and system configuration to the development of AI and machine learning models, implementation and go-live. You will continuously expand your practical experience through direct interaction with our customers.

Technical and IT training

We offer you continuous technical and IT-specific training to prepare you specifically for your tasks as a Consultant. All necessary measures are planned and implemented in constant dialogue with you. This will enable you to take on more and more responsibility on client projects and also on internal projects.

IT-Know-how

Working closely with your coach, you will expand your knowledge of the SAP module or other IT applications relevant to you. Through access to practice-orientated training and participation in internal SAP workshops, you will continuously expand your IT skills.

Certifications

Depending on the project requirements, you will have the opportunity to take part in certification programmes to further expand your knowledge and deepen your expertise.

As a Senior Consultant / Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for your own IT or specialist topic, which you will communicate to your colleagues through workshops and presentations. With your experience, you will develop more complex concepts and successfully implement them for our customers. In addition, you will independently manage and lead small customer projects or sub-projects as required.

Senior Manager*in / AI Solutions Lead

As Senior Manager / AI Solutions Lead, you will contribute your many years of management experience in both acquiring and supporting customers and managing your competence centre. Internally, you will be responsible for your own team and will specifically promote the further development of your employees. If necessary, you will also manage larger customer projects or sub-projects and supervise the ponturo colleagues involved. You will be responsible for acquiring existing and new customers and, if necessary, will also conduct contract negotiations independently. What qualifications are expected?

We expect career starters / university graduates to have successfully completed their studies with good grades, a high affinity for IT as well as motivation and interest in IT consulting. Initial experience in the finance or IT sector through internships, vocational training or relevant specializations during your studies is desirable. Previous knowledge of SAP is not required.

We expect young professionals and professionals to have specialist and industry knowledge as well as experience in technical topics relevant to us, e.g. SAP systems.

A very good command of German (at least C1) and a good command of English as well as a willingness to travel are also important.

How does the application process work?

After receiving your documents, you will receive a written confirmation of receipt from us. As a rule, you will be informed of our decision within 14 days. We will invite all candidates who best fulfill our requirements criteria to a telephone interview or video call. If we are mutually interested, we will then conduct two face-to-face interviews.

How do I prepare for the interviews?

In all interviews, we want to understand why you are interested in IT consulting, banking and/or insurance. Show us why you are a good fit for us and for the position you are applying for. You can do this by being well prepared and researching popular websites. Find out about our company and our specializations in advance. Familiarize yourself with the job description in advance and think about which of our Competence Centers you can best contribute your strengths to.

Where are ponturo locations?

Our office is located in Frankfurt am Main. However, the location plays a subordinate role and you can keep your current place of residence within Germany. A hybrid working model has become firmly established and proven itself with us. This allows us to ensure a good balance between working from home and being on site at the clients' premises or at the ponturo office.

What does a typical working week at ponturo look like?

In a typical working week, you will spend four days working for our clients. Your tasks are varied: they range from conceptual work, customizing and IT development to (virtual) meetings with clients and your team.

Fridays are set aside for your personal development. On this day, you will have time for training, workshops or internal events. This keeps you up to date professionally and technically and you are always well informed about what is happening at ponturo and in your Competence Center.

Are there opportunities to complete an internship, work as a student trainee or write a thesis?

You can find all vacancies for working students on our website. Due to our project-based working methods and client-specific requirements, we are unfortunately unable to offer internships. We can supervise Master's theses in individual cases. Please ask us about this.

What does the salary at ponturo consist of?
